Mildred Birnbaum Moss

Mildred Birnbaum Moss 92 of Glouster died March 19, 2005 in OSU Medical Center, Columbus. She was born September 20 1912 in Hollister, daughter of the late John and Mary Christman Loomis. She was a member of the Oakdale Church of Christ, and the American Business and Professional Women?s Association.

She owned and operated the Yellow Rose Tea Room and Court Square Inn both in McConnelsville, and Mildreds Diner in Glouster.

She is survived by a son Ronald K. Suzanne Tompkins M.D. of Santa Monica California, 3 grandchildren, Gregory Alan Tompkins, Teresa Susan Read, and Geoffrey Stuart Tompkins M.D., 6 great Grandchildren. 1 sister Dorothy Niceswanger of Malta.

She was preceded in death by husbands Fred Birnbaum and Harold Moss, 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday in the Bishopville Church of Christ with John Wright officiating. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home 30 Main St. Glouster, Ohio on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8PM, and on Wednesday at the church, 1 hour prior to the services.
