Philip Ray Jones

Philip Ray Jones, 40, of Nelsonville, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Grant Medical Center Center, Columbus, following an auto accident. He was born November 25, 1964 in Nelsonville, the son of Ronnie and Mary Jane Hitchings Jones of Nelsonville.

Phillip was a graduate of Nelsonville-York High School and attended Hocking College. He was the owner and operator of Dawghouse Pizza in Nelsonville.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Jordan Jones and a daughter, Chelsea Jones both of Nelsonville; a brother and sister-in-law, David Tammie Jones of Nelsonville; a sister and brother-in-law, Traci Robert Brown of Milford; a niece, Elizabeth Brown; a nephew, Jonathon Brown and paternal grandparents, Josephine Jones of Logan and Paul Jones of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James ?Peck? Hitchings and Mary Elizabeth Davis Hitchings.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 28, 2005 at 6:00 P.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville with Rev. Paul Taylor officiating. Friends may call Monday from 4-6 P.M. at the funeral home.
