GLEN ZICKEFOOSE

Glen Edward Zickefoose, 76, of Rockbridge, passed away April 20th, 2005 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

He was born May 9th, 1928 in Helvetia, West Virginia, the son of the late Charles and Alcinda Clark Zickefoose. He was married to Jean B. Clatworthy Zickefoose of Rockbridge.

Glen was a 32nd Degree Master Mason of the Valley of Akron, worked at Goodyear for 28 years, and retired from the Bechtel Corporation in 1992 as a Quality Control Engineer. He also was an Autoline Oil Salesman, school bus driver, and was a former member of the staff at Cardaras Funeral Homes.

In addition to his wife, Glen is survived by three daughters, Diane K. Bob Rannells of Amanda, Nancy J. Joe Thomas of Chantilly Virginia, and Janice L. James Robins of Hagerstown Maryland, two grandchildren, Laura and Benjamin Welch of Columbus, two brothers, Richard Mae Zickefoose of Ravena, and Loren Zickefoose of Akron, and two nephews, Dale and Dean Zickefoose.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Glen?s memory can be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Central Ohio Chapter, 3740 Ridge Mill Drive, Hilliard, OH 43026.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 3 P.M. at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second Street, Logan, with Reverend Doyne Wiggins officiating. At Glen?s request, cremation has taken place.
