Mary E. Green

Mary E. Green, 77, of Nelsonville, passed away Thursday, April 21st, 2005 at her residence in Nelsonville. Mary was born March 21st, 1928 in Lurig, Ohio, the daughter of the late Everett and Grace Young Haines. She was the widow of Art Green, who passed away previously.

Mary greatly enjoyed eating out, and attending church dinners whenever she could.

She is survived by two sons, Tom Mary Lou Haines of Nelsonville, Tim Haines of Nelsonville, two daughters, Eva Bob Spencer of New Straitsville, Barbara Haines of Athens, three grandchildren, Barbie, Bob, and Christine, and one great grandchild, Josh. Mary has one living sister, Eva McMillian of New Plymouth.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by brothers Orrville and John, one sister Janie, and an infant sister Ruth.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 25, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville with Pastor Dave Cogar officiating. Interment will be at New Marshfield Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
