Rick Stinson, 50, of Calcutta, formerly of Glouster, passed away at his residence. He was born April 4, 1955 in Columbus, the son of the late Gene and Ada Yinger Stinson.
Rick was formerly employed by Conrail and PCC Airfoils. He was a 1973 graduate of Trimble High School, where he played football. He liked to camp, fish and collect coins.
He is survived by two daughters, Mindy Tom Hardy of Glouster and Jordan Stinson of East Liverpool; two sons, Josh Stinson of Arizona and Kyle Stinson of East Liverpool; two granddaughters, Sydney and Ashlynn Hardy; four sisters, Cherie Richard Lent of Jacksonville, Uleta James Moore of Glouster, Nora Lacy of Silver City, New Mexico, Kim Stinson, Florida; three brothers, Bob Stinson of Pickerington, Tom Pat Stinson of Columbus, Geno Ginny Stinson of Galloway and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and a sister, Barbara Stinson Phillips.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Monday, May 30, 2005 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main Street, Glouster, with Tim Seevers officiating. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
