Robert E. Hatfield

Robert E. Hatfield, 83, of Nelsonville, passed away Tuesday, May 31st, 2005 at his residence. Robert was born May 26, 1922 in Athens County, the son of the late Robert and Easter Pickett Hatfield. He was married to Flora Hatfield, who passed away previously.

He is survived by two daughters, Carole Richard Seymour of Newark and Jean Walter Johnston of Nelsonville; nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Dishong of Nelsonville.

In addition to his parents and wife Flora, he was preceded in death by one son, Bob Lee Hatfield, one sister, Ruth Bishop, and a brother, Jim Hatfield.

In observing Roberts wishes, cremation has taken place. In-urnment will take place at Connett Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Souers-Cardaras Funeral home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville.
