Theda Graham

Theda Lucille Graham, 89, of Nelsonville, passed away Thursday, June 9th, 2005 at Doctors Hospital in Nelsonville. Theda was born April 5, 1916 in Nelsonville, the daughter of the late Joseph Nathan and Virgie McNabb Thomas.

Theda was a life long member of the VFW Plains Ladies Auxiliary #7174, and was a devoted mother of her children.

She is survived by her sons, Tom Imogene Graham of McConnelsville, Robert Lee Marilyn Graham of Union City, Indiana, and Raymond Edward Lisa Graham of Gallipolis; one daughter, Debra Jo Pat Kelly of The Plains; a beloved sister, Virgie Max Bumgardner and a loving brother, Harold Cleo Thomas and very special friend, Annie McGuire; She was the grandmother of 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Nathan Gilbert Graham, twin infant sisters Iris and Irene, one sister Signa Crabtree, and three brothers, Kenneth, Cecil, and Gerald Thomas. She will be greatly missed and remembered.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 13th, 2005 at 3:00 P.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville, with Reverend King Kelly officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 P.M. at the funeral home.
