Russell B. Tettemer

Russell B. Tettemer, 84, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital of Logan. He was born May 18, 1921, in Trenton, N.J., son of the late Frank and Mabel Leigh Tettemer. He is preceded in death by his wife Betty McAfooes Tettemer. He was retired from General Motors where he worked in quality control. He also served in the Army during WWII, member of the Mingo Lodge #171 F&A.M. Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus, Cresent Temple in N.J., Aladdin Temple Shrine in Columbus, Kentucky Colonels, Hocking Hills Shrine Logan Chapter #75, Logan Commandry #78 and Hock Hocking Council #39.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a brother George Tettemer and two sisters, Loretta Mitchell and Dorothy Coyle. Funeral services will be held Monday 10 a.m., at Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, with Rev. Larry Hoffmann, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. Masonic service will be held Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Hocking Valley Community Hospital Foundation 31480 Chieftain Dr., Suite B Logan, Ohio 43138.
