Larry L. Stine

Larry L. Stine, 57, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday, June 17, 2005 at Dayton VA Medical Center. Born September 30, 1947 in Philipsburg, PA he was the son of Adeline Smeal Stine of Pennsylvania and the late James Stine. He was married to April D. Burchfield Stine of Nelsonville.

Larry was a graduate of Penn State University and a member of the Penn State Alumni Association, Eagles, Elks, American Legion, VFW and DAV. He attended the Nelsonville Wesleyan Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by two sons, Rob Stine of Nelsonville and Andrew Jennifer Stine of Dayton; a stepson, Eric Russell; four grandchildren, Tyler, Dalton, Alex and Emily and three brothers, Randy Stine, Chuck Karen Stine and Greg Karen Stine all of Pennsylvania.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Mia Russell.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville with Rev. Michael Thomas officiating. According to Mr. Stine?s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends may call Saturday, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
