John Richard Rizer

John Richard ?Rivi? Rizer, 58, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday, June 17, 2005 at his residence. Born May 30, 1947 in Nelsonville, he was the son of the late John L. and Florence Simonton Rizer Hunley.

He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by a brother, Gary Hunley of Nelsonville; two sisters, Judy Oscar Rizer Dickerson of Nelsonville and Dianna Mark Hunley Kassouf of Pickerington and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepfather, George Hunley.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville with Rev. Michael Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville where a military graveside service will be conducted by the Combined Color Guard Unit. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
