Ruth Blake Rutter

Ruth Blake Rutter 81 of Logan died June 20, 2005 in Hocking Valley Community Hospital. She was born June 26, 1923 in McArthur, Ohio, daughter of the late Asa Austin and Cressie Martindill Blake. She was the widow of the late Roy E. Rutter.

Ruth was a former buyer for Elberfelds Department Store and she formerly owned a convenience store on McArthur.

She is survived by a daughter Lynn S. Romine of Logan, a brother Robert Blake of Washington Court House, 2 sisters Irene Calvin of Marietta and Mary Ann Yates of Hamden.

Ruth was preceded in death by 3 brothers George, Roger, and Bill Blake and 1 sister Grace Blake.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30AM Monday in the Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan with Rev. Gerald Frazee officiating. Entombment will be in New Fairview Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8PM.
