Robert Ray Hall Sr.

Robert H. Hall Sr., 55, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan. He was born October 11, 1949 in Elizabeth, West Virginia, the son of the late Heisel Hall and Nellie Wigal McCartney. He was married to Roberta Bumgardner Hall, who survives, for 20 years.

Robert was formerly employed by Contract Mail Trucking in Parkersburg, WV, was a member of the Redmen Lodge, Athens and was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert Hall Jr. of Parkersburg and Matthew Hall of Nelsonville; a daughter, Christy Hall of Logan; a stepson, George Giffin of Logan; a brother, David Karen Hall of Parkersburg; a sister, Lucille Eddie Drake of Rockport, WV and his mother-in-law, Erma Bumgardner.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 25, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville with Pastor David Cogar officiating. Friends may call Monday, one hour before the service at the funeral home.
