Ida Mae Morrison Birtcher

Ida Mae Morrison Birtcher, 67, of Nelsonville, formerly of Logan, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2005, at Doctor?s Hospital, Nelsonville.

She was born February 20, 1938, in French Creek, West Virginia, daughter of the late Arthur James and Pearlie Mae Oney Morrison.

She is survived by three sons, Donald Boals Jr. of Nelsonville, Jimmy Kornmiller of Lancaster and John Kornmiller of Michigan; five daughters, Tena Boals and her fiancé Mike Dexter of Nelsonville, Jean Ann Williams of Lancaster, Linda Danny Bell McCarty of Nelsonville, Sherry Oiler of Lancaster and Carla Kornmiller of Lancaster; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one brother, Leroy Morrison of Logan; five sisters, Imogene Karns of McArthur, Lulabell Webb of Athens, Virginia Lane of Texas, Della Mae Wright of Logan and Vera Lou Myers of Athens.

She is preceded in death by three brothers, Scotty Morrison, Howard Morrison and Robert Arthur; two sisters, Thelma Casto and Ruth Fields.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., at Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, with Pastor Betty Brooks, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and also on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
