Carmelia J. ?Trudy? Clark, 65, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday, August 12, 2005 at Doctors Hospital Nelsonville. She was born September 15, 1939 in Perry County, the daughter of the late Leo and Edith Kelly Burns. She was married for 45 years to William J. Clark, who survives.

Trudy was retired from Hocking Valley Community Hospital where she was a medical lab technician. She earned an Associate Degree in Medical Lab Technology and was a member of St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church. She enjoyed herb gardening, was an avid reader and loved listening to piano music.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, William J. and Kellie Clark, Jr. of Oak Ridge, TN; a grandson, Braedon Clark and loving and supportive friends, Nickie Blackburn, Jeanne Hill, and Helen and Tommy Schultz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Paul Clark; one brother, Harlan Burns and a special niece, Joni Caton.

A funeral liturgy with mass will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church, Buchtel with Father John Mucha officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville where a wake service will be conducted at 7:30 PM.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church Building Fund, 110 E. Washington St., Nelsonville, Ohio 45764 or to the Nelsonville Public Library, 95 W. Washington St., Nelsonville, Ohio 45764.
