Charles Graham Moore

Charles Graham Moore 87 of Logan died August 27, 2005 in Hickory Creek Nursing Home, The Plains. He was born October 4, 1917 in Hocking County, son of the late John and Bertha Nutter Moore. He was the widow of the late Ida Fern McCarley Moore who died in 1999.

Charles was retired from Carborundum in Logan, a WW II Army Veteran where he was a motorcycle currier with the 1st Armored Division and was involved in the Anzio and African Invasions. Charles was also a Member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church.

He is survived by special friends Wayne, Mary, Mark Melanie Dennis, Lisa Gerald Jajowka and a sister Virginia Fenning of Ft. Myers Florida.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday in the St. Matthew Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Elhard officiating. Interment will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery, Green Twp. Friends may call at the church 1 hour prior to the services.

Military graveside services will be conducted by the Hocking Co. Combined Color Guard Unit.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hocking Co. Humane Society Care of Mary Ann Goodlive 798 Third St. Logan, Ohio 43138.

Arrangements are by the Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan.
