Mary J. Carter, 83, of Logan, formerly of Glouster, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2005, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan. She was born May 6, 1922, in Fort Recovery, Ohio, daughter of the late Henry and Veronica Fecher Fullenkamp.
She was a member of West Pleasant Hill United Brethren Church.
Mary is survived by six sons, Harold Bonnie Kidwell of Groveport, Robert Annie Wagner of Dayton, Louis Teresa Kidwell of Stewart, James Sandy Kidwell of Pataskala, Henry Anna Carter of Buckeye Lake, and Floyd Catherine Carter Jr. of Logan; six daughters, Laura Delbert Beavers of Logan, Alice Augustad of Kentucky, Kathy Don Keeney of Logan, Mary Carter of Newark, Dottie James Morrison of Albany, and Nellie Carter of Logan; many grandchildren, and several great grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Fullenkamp of Dayton; two sisters, Henrietta Schindler and Esther Rauch, both of Dayton.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Kidwell, her second husband Floyd Carter Sr., three brothers, Gregory, Bernard, and Arnold Fullenkamp; and three sisters Joann Murlin, Rita Murlin, and Alice Brokamp.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, 2 p.m., at Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, with Rev. Al Carter and Pastor Betty Brooks, officiating. Interment will be in Glouster Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
