Evan Boswell

Evan L. Boswell, 90, of Coshocton, formerly of Glouster, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2005, at the Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born February 23, 1915, in Corning, the son of the late William and Elma Frasure Boswell. He was married to the late Katherine Zimmer Boswell, who passed away previously.

Evan was an Army Veteran of WWII, a former electrician, and retired from the Glouster Post Office. He was a member of the Corning Eagles, the Coshocton American Legion, and was a life member of the Buckeye State Disabled American Veterans.

He is survived by one son, Greg Boswell of Coshocton.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Herb and Emery Boswell, and one sister, Pansy Marie Boswell.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 2 p.m., at Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main St. Glouster. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may call on Sunday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Military graveside services will be performed by the Combined Color Guard Unit.
