Earl W. Barnhart

Earl W. Barnhart, 88, of Athens, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at O?Bleness Memorial Hospital. He was born July 14, 1917 in Doanville, the son of the late William and Anna Bell Johnson Barnhart. He was married to Garnet McDonald Barnhart since 1964, she survives.

Earl was a self employed barber and he attended The True Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

He is survived by sons Earl Sandy Wood of Athens, Russell ?Bugsy? K. Wood of Athens, Bill Alice Barnhart of Glouster, Jess Betty Barnhart of Trimble, James Nellie Barnhart of Athens, Steve Stephanie Barnhart of Belpre, Russell Earl Sheila Barnhart of Glouster, Randy Becky Wood of Athens, Frank Debbie Wood of Athens, Gary McDonald of Glouster, daughters Betty Ike Hunter of Athens, Rose Larry Ryan of Amesville, Anna Bob Proffitt of Little Hocking, Debra Mike Koon of Athens, Dorothy Robin Mount of Athens, Linda Mount of Buchtel, Geraldine Teal of Chauncey, Toby Larry Wycoff of Athens, 56 grandchildren, 88 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by four sisters, one brother, one daughter, two grandsons, one great grandson, and a son in law.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 1st, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville, with Pastor Leonard Swoyer officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, New Addition. Friends may call Saturday from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.
