Marguerite Mae Mount

Marguerite M. Mount, 83, of Nelsonville, passed away Monday, October 17, 2005 at Doctors Hospital Nelsonville. She was born June 30, 1922 in Doanville, the daughter of the late Joseph Franklin and Bertha Jane Misner Hunley. She was married to Howard Mount, who survives, for 61 years.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald E. Mary Mount of Waverly and Steven F. Kathleen Mount of Westerville; two daughters, Sharon Marie Colwell of Pickens, S.C. and Elizabeth Ann Tim Pond of Martinez, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Marie Hunley of Nelsonville; a half sister, Rosella Jim Blackston of Indiana and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Leora Auflick and infant sister, Lillie Hunley and two brothers, George and Robert Hunley.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville with Rev. Tim Pond officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
