Dorothy Hella Alford

Dorothy Hella Alford, 81, of Midway Park, North Carolina formerly of Logan passed away November 9, 2005 at her residence. She was born November 12, 1923 in Talin, Estonia. Dorothy was married to the late Talmadge D. Alford who passed away in 1982.

She is survived by three sons, Walter Dianne Alford of Logan, Michael Jan Alford of Santa Clara, California, and Roy Judy Alford of Jacksonville, N.C., two daughters, June Terry Monk of Nelsonville, and Susan Phillips of Logan, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and one brother Alexander Christine von Kursell of Brazil.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 15, at 1 P.M., at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Kenny Kidd officiating. Interment will be at Shaw cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 at the funeral home.
