Robert E. McManaway, 63, of Logan, went to be with the Lord Saturday,
January 14, 2006 at his residence. He was born July 29, 1942 in Powhatan
Point, Ohio, son of Robert H. McManaway and Gladys Exline McManaway both of Logan. Robert was survived by wife Sharon McManaway.
He was a Hocking County Deputy Sheriff for 31 years, a member of the Isaac
Walton League, the Fish and Gun Club, and attended the Christian Fellowship Church. Bob was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his wife, Bob was survived by a son Brian Larrisa
McManaway of Logan, two daughters Melodee Jarrod Hawk of Hamden, and
Tiffany McManaway of Logan, five grandchildren, Brian Keith Jr., and Zachary
McManaway, Jacob and Jordan Hawk, and Malik Jackson, and one brother Gene
Roberta Morgan of Logan.
Bob is preceded in death by an infant daughter Christy D?Ann McManaway, and
a brother Jimmy McManaway.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at
Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Jeff Snodgrass
officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, where military
graveside services will be conducted by the Combined Veterans Burial Detail
of Hocking County. Friends may call from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the funeral
home on Tuesday, January 17, 2006.
