Michael A. Mick Fast

Michael A. Mick Fast, 48, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2006, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan. He was born August 27, 1957, in Lancaster, son of the late Paul E. and Ruby A. Anderson Fast.

He was a member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, co-owner of Ruby?s Country Cupboard on the family farm, and retired from ODOT where he worked as a timekeeper.

Mick is survived by one son, Ashlee P. Brittney Fast of Logan, a grandson, Austin Michael Fast of Logan, two brothers, Paul ?Rick? Linda Fast of Laurelville and Larry Becky Fast of Logan, special friends Bonnie and Donny Herring of Gibisonville, and nieces and nephews, Rachel Jon Billups, Julie Fast, Jason Jennifer Fast, Stephanie Staten, Jennifer Armes, Tammy Dean Hatem, and Charlie Staten.

In addition to his parents, Mick is preceded in death by his grandparents Ada and Walter Fast.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM on Sunday, February 12, 2006, at Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, 16228 S.R. 678, Rockbridge, Ohio, with Rev. John Williams officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Gibisonville. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Saturday from 5-9 P.M and on Sunday one hour prior to services at the church.
