Robert V. Eby Sr.

Robert V. Eby Sr., 73, of Logan, passed away Friday, February 10, 2006, at O.S.U. Medical Center in Columbus. He was born December 4, 1932, in Hocking Co., son of the late Vernon and Mary Leonard Eby. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary L. Eby.

Robert was a military policeman in the Army and retired from Anchor Hocking after 38 years of service.

He is survived by a son Robert V. Kay Eby Jr. of Lancaster; one daughter, Kathy Russell of Logan; five grandchildren, Jennifer Ted Hayes, Amy Russell, David Nikki Eby, Mike Eby and John Desiree Russell; five great grandchildren, Isaiah Hayes, Trinity Hayes, Danielle Russell, Blake Russell, Austin Russell and one on the way; special niece, Tammy Davis of Logan; and his special dog Buddy.

He is preceded in death by a brother Jim Eby; two sisters, Shirley Morrison and Barbara Miller; a nephew, Steve Eby; a niece, Trudy Eby and his beloved dog cuddles.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 A.M., at Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, with Pastor Mike Herbert, officiating. Interment will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M.

Graveside military services will be conducted by the Combined Veterans Burial Detail of Hocking County.
