Mary Jane Devol

Mary Jane Devol, 63, of Nelsonville, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2006, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. She was born September 25, 1942, in Athens County, daughter of the late Sylvester and Thelma Hughes Winchell. Mary was married to Melvin Devol, who survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter Amanda Jane Victor Brown of Nelsonville, four grandchildren, Sara, Melissa, Victor ?Bud?, and Emily Brown, one great grandchild, Michael Pack, four brothers, John and Virgil Winchell of Jackson, Richard Winchell of Gore, and Jerry Winchell of Murray City, one sister, Nancy Welch of Chillicothe, several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Sherman ?Buck? Winchell.

Mrs. Devol?s wishes were to be cremated and a service will be held at the convenience of the family.
