David J. Camp, 72, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at Riverside Hospital, Columbus. He was born August 6, 1933 in Jobs, the son of the late Lowell A. and Tessie M. Farmer Camp.
David was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by a son, David J. Camp Jr. of Regensburg, Germany; a brother, Joe Donna Camp of Rome, Ohio; three sisters, Jane Bill Theisen of Nelsonville, Leta A. Pritchard of Cummings, Georgia and Clara Max Pitts of Nelsonville and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Camp was preceded in death by a sister, Rosie Vozel and three brothers, Lowell A. Camp Jr., Ralph V. Camp and Floyd Camp.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at 12:00 P.M. at Carbon Hill Cemetery with Rev. Bill Stiers officiating. A military graveside service will be conducted by the Combined Color Guard Unit. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville.
