Martha Louise Collins

Martha Louise Collins 84, of Nelsonville and Venice Florida, passed away Wednesday, March 8th, 2006 at her residence in Nelsonville. She was born February 22, 1922 in Middleport, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Jennie Grogan Kauff. She was married to her husband of 64 years, Virgil Collins, who survives.

Martha was a 1940 graduate of Middleport High School, was employed as a machine operator for many years at the Sylvania Plant, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Florida. She also was a member of the VFW Auxiliary #3467 in Nelsonville.

In addition to her husband Virgil, she is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Bob Riley of Nelsonville and Nokomis Florida, one brother, Harold Kathryn Kauff of Middleport, sister-in-law Betty Sue Kauff of Point Pleasant WVa, grand daughters Colleen Kevin Goundrey of Texas, and Erin William Wood of Idaho, two grandsons, Pat Riley of Nelsonville and Mike Christina Riley of Louisiana, and Mike?s ex-wife Tyra Riley and grand daughter in law Tyra, five great grandchildren, eight nieces and three nephews, and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Miriam Hickman and one brother, John R. Kauff.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville with Dan Adams officiating. Calling hours will be held on FRIDAY, March 10th from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the services on Saturday. Interment will be in
Greenlawn Cemetery, New Addition.
