Lucille L. Walls, 96, of Nelsonville, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in The Plains. She was born October 3rd, 1909 in Nelsonville, the daughter of the late Harry and May Cecil Powell. She was married to Ralph Guy and Robert Walls, both of whom passed away previously.

Lucille worked for General Motors in bookkeeping, and was formerly employed by Hanna Paint in Columbus. She was a former member of the Nelsonville Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by one brother, Charles Norma Powell of Nelsonville, and several nieces and nephew.

In addition to her parents, and husbands Ralph and Robert, Lucille was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Fred, and Leslie, an infant sister Marjean, and an infant brother, Clifford.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 24, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville with Pastor Dave Cogar officiating. Calling hours will be held from 6-8 PM Thursday. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville.
