Lavada Alice Drescher

Lavada A. Drescher, 68, of Nelsonville, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2006. She was born May 2, 1937 in Haydenville, the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Cora Stufflbean Chilcote. She was the widow of the late William E. Drescher.

She is survived by a son, William L. Shawn Drescher of Truetown; two daughters, Diane Dennis Vest Stalder of Lancaster and Billie Tim Baden of Nelsonville; fourteen grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a sister, Helen Johnson of Buchtel; three brothers, Art Dodie Chilcote of Nelsonville, Paul Gracie Chilcote of Jackson and Ed PattyChilcote of Nelsonville and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Delores Winchell and Vera Phillips and two brothers, John and Robert Chilcote.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, March 26, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home with Rev. Ernie Perkins officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 2-7 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
