Mabel Lucille Hoffman

Mabel Lucille Hoffman, 86, of Logan, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2006 at Logan Health Care Center, Logan. She was born October 17, 1919, in Hocking County, daughter of the late Thomas Cook and Bertha Hubacher Cook Henderson. Mabel was married to Harold Hoffman who passed away January 7, 1987.

She was a waitress at Brandt?s and Blosser?s Restaurants in Logan, and a member of the Kline Memorial United Methodist Church in Enterprise where she sang in the church choir.

Mabel is survived by three daughters, Linda Waugh of Pickerington, Suellen Steve Rieder of Logan, and Pamela Calvin Price of Logan, a step daughter Saundra L Hoffman of Logan, five grandchildren, Charles William ?Chuckie? Helber Jr. of Logan, Nathan Hoffman Waugh of Pickerington, Ryan Christopher Rieder of Logan, Stefanie Suzanne Rieder of Logan, and Joshua Kenneth Price of Logan, four brothers, Calvin Cook of New Plymouth, Bernard Dolores Cook of Logan, George Wanda Cook of New Plymouth, and Johnny Carolyn Henderson of New Plymouth, and one sister Viola Gabriel of Lancaster.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Edward, Herman, and Dale Cook, and three sisters, Elmira Powell, Eunice Wolfe, and Edna Sheron.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, April 24, 2006 at Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, with Rev. Clarence Thompson officiating. Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, April 23, 2006, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.
