James Denver Frank, 85, of Glouster, passed away Friday, April 21, 2006, at Hickory Creek Nursing Center, The Plains. He was born September 2, 1920, in Nelsonville, son of the late Carl and Edna Wolfe Frank.
Denver was a retired carpenter with Nationwide Insurance Company. He was a World War II Army Veteran and was formerly a member of the Glouster Senior Citizens.
He is survived by four daughters, Nettie Robbie Maestle of Columbus, Jennifer ?Sis? Ron Scheurell of Arizona, Laura Mike Wogan of Nelsonville and Lori Brian Koon Frank of Athens; a son, James D. Sabrina Frank II of Reynoldsburg; three stepsons, Dale ?Bud? Whipple of Columbus, Thomas Christina Frank and Carl Frank both of Glouster; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a brother, Carl Leva Frank Jr. of Barberton; former wife, Ellen Hartley Frank and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents and first wife Thelma Frank he was preceded in death by a son Jay Frank and three brothers, Max, Henry and Leonard Frank.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main St., Glouster, with Pastor Michael Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Connett Cemetery, Nelsonville where a military graveside service will be conducted by the Combined Color Guard Unit. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at the funeral home.
