Marie F. Parry Woodgeard

Marie F. Parry Woodgeard, 83, of Logan, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2006, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. She was born August 25, 1922, in Nelsonville, daughter of the late Phillip H. and Norma Bownes Parry. She is preceded in death by her husband Ray H. Woodgeard.

She worked in ladies retail clothing sales and also was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church and Pomeroy O.E.S. #186.

She is survived by a son, Tim Kathy Woodgeard of Logan; two daughters, Connie Dile Brown of Knoxville, Tennessee and Nancy Paul Hankison of Logan; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one brother, John Janet Parry of Logan.

In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by a son, Jim Woodgeard; one brother, Robert Parry; one sister, Betty Hamilton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 10 a.m., at Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, with the Rev. Rick Bennington, officiating. Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

An Eastern Star service will be held Wednesday 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
