C. Neal Ferebee

C. Neal Ferebee, 76, of Canal Winchester, passed away Monday, May 8, 2006 at Mount Carmel East, Columbus. He was born April 14, 1930 in Akron, son of the late Horace Neal Ferebee and Georgia Myers Ferebee. Neal was married to Donna R. Hoskins Ferebee for 54 years who survives.

He was a retired Navy Chief as well as retiring from Sears distribution, Columbus, where he was plant engineer. Neal loved gardening, and CB and Ham radios.

In addition to his wife, Neal is survived by one son, John Teresa Ferebee of Lancaster, two daughters, Joyce Antonio Salado of Grove City and Barb Bob McGilvray of Columbus, six grandchildren, Paul and Mary Ferebee, Linda Lowell Meade, Monica Jose Herrera, Jeff Jenny Salado, and Antonio Salado Jr., five great grandchildren, Nicole, Drew, and Kimberly Salado, Elayna Herrera, and Antonio Meade, and one sister Evelyn Danny Sayas of Florida.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother William Ferebee and one daughter Linda Ferebee.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 12 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville with Rev. Michael Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery where military services will be conducted by the Combined Color Guard Unit. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.
