John Clinton Cunningham

John C. Cunningham, 65, of Nelsonville, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2006 at OSU Medical Center, Columbus. He was born September 29, 1940 in Nelsonville, the son of the late Everett and Isabelle McDonald Cunningham. He was married to Betty L. Elliott Cunningham, who survives.

He is survived by four sons, Robert Ella Cunningham of Glouster, Rodney Joyce Cunningham of Westerville, Jimmy Dorothy Cunningham and Jason Cunningham of Nelsonville; three daughters, Tammy Wesley Smith of Glouster, Shelby Terry Cornette of Inez, Kentucky and Tracy Robert Ellis Cunningham of Marion; a stepdaughter, Carolyn Decker of Nelsonville; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; five brothers, Elbert ?Red? Jean Cunningham of Doanville, Bob Cunningham, Aaron J. ?A.J.?
Donna Cunningham both of Nelsonville, Charles ?June? Pat Cunningham of Arizona and Clarence ?Buddy? Cunningham of Murray City; two sisters, Pauline Searles of New Lexington and Sharon Newlun of Doanville.

In addition to his Parents, Mr. Cunningham was preceded in death by two sons, John and Kevin Cunningham; two brothers, Pearley and Jim Cunningham and two sisters, Margie Kimes and Audrey Cunningham.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville with Rev. Ivan Pullin officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
