Karl Edmund Roeder

Karl Edmund Roeder, 43, of Laurelville, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2006 in Hocking County. He was born August 29, 1962, in Columbus, son of the late Herman R. Roeder Jr. and Pamela S. Hansford Roeder who survives.

Karl was a 1980 graduate of Logan Elm High School, member of North United Methodist Church in Columbus and also an avid fisherman.

He is survived by two sons, Eric A. Roeder of Rockbridge and Aaron P. Roeder of Circleville; a daughter, Heidi Renee Roeder of Laurelville; a grandson, Richard H. Roeder; four brothers, Dale Jan Roeder of Florida, Paul Kim Roeder of Rockbridge, Chris Tami Roeder of Georgia and Kurt Cheryl Roeder of Marion; three sisters, Vickie Sandy Aptharp Roeder of Florida, Loretta Hill of Georgia and Lorraine Mike Clinger of Georgia; his girlfriend Terri VanHoose of Laurelville.

He is preceded in death by his son Richard Edmund Roeder.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, 6:30 p.m., at South Perry United Methodist Church, 19680 S.R. 180, Laurelville, with the Rev. Ryan Grace, officiating.
