Edward Eddie T. Phillips

Edward Eddie T. Phillips, 61, of Logan, passed away Monday, June 19, 2006, at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital in Columbus. He was born February 14, 1945, in Doanville, son of Alberta J. Pancake Stanley of The Plains and the late John E. Phillips Jr. He is survived by his wife Geneva Richmond Phillips.

He was employed at Logan Clay Products and also was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.

He is survived by two sons, Jerry Ray Annette Phillips and Michael T. Julie Phillips all of Logan; seven grandchildren, Cierra, Austin, Dakota, Justin, Krista, Kortney and Brooke Phillips; two brothers, Fred Evelyn Phillips of Carbon Hill and Gary Diane Phillips of Logan; two sisters, Carolyn Larry Welch of Athens and Shirley Roger Mohler of Nelsonville.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 11 a.m., at Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, with Pastor Steve Hubbard, officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
