Charlotte Royal L. Cox

Charlotte Royal L. Cox, 76, of Chillicothe, formerly of Logan, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Bennington Glenn in Morrow County. She was born November 4, 1929 in Columbus, daughter of the late George M. and Florence Miller Lyons. Charlotte was the widow of the late Virgil A. Cox.

She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, especially oil painting.

Charlotte is survived by three sons, Theodore Becky Maibach Cox of Logan, Wayne Barbara Cox of Lancaster, and Michael D. Cox of Logan; two daughters Sheila Brent Skatzes of Sunbury and Charlotte Jeremy Phalin of Ft. Brag, N.C.; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; two sisters Rebecca Wilson of Akron and Gretchen Fisher of Lodi.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Hafer, and one brother Charles Lyons.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Sunday, August 6, 2006 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Entombment will be in New Fairview Mausoleum, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 2-5 P.M.
