Rev. Harold ?Hal? E. Keeton, 61, of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2006 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born October 4, 1944 in West Liberty, Kentucky, son of Emery Keeton of Fairborn, Ohio and the late Grace Rigsby Keeton. Rev. Keeton was married to Katherine Kay Fitzpatrick Keeton who survives.
He was a minister, and founded the Christ Community Church in Jacksonville, and a member of the Trimble Masonic Lodge #557. He attended Ohio State University in Columbus and Sinclair Community College in Dayton. Rev. Keeton attended seminary in Durham North Carolina.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by one son Mark Alan Keeton of Huber Heights; two daughters, Angie Hicks of Fairborn and Amy Quillen of Dumfries, VA; four grandchildren and two brothers, Ronnie Keeton of Fairborn and Larry Keeton of Beavercreek.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at the Jacksonville United Methodist Church with Pastor Clyde Boring officiating. Interment will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield.. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main. St., Glouster, on Monday from 5-8 P.M. and one hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday.
