David E. Woodrum, Jr.

David E. Woodrum Jr., 37, of Carbondale, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus. He was born June 3, 1969 in Logan, the son of David E. Woodrum Sr. of Nelsonville and Mary E. Legg Woodrum of Nelsonville. He was married to Bridgett Gilbraith Woodrum, who survives.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by three sons, Tylor Woodrum, Chet Woodrum both of Carbondale and Seth Woodrum of Buchtel; three daughters, Ashley Woodrum, Chelsey Woodrum both of Buchtel and Kylla Speelman of Carbondale; sister, Christy Mick Hart of Athens; maternal grandmother, Margaret Legg of Carbon Hill; a niece, Misty Bunting of Buchtel and special friends, Lloyd Simonton, Kent Marble, Jimmy Hamilton and Bob Gilbraith.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Lori Ann Legg; maternal grandfather, John Legg; paternal grandparents, Chet and Margaret Woodrum and a special friend, Sean Gibson

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. King Kelly officiating. At David?s request cremation will take place following the services. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
