Christopher Lee ?Chris? Blake, 31, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday, October 6, 2006 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital, Columbus. He was born July 12, 1975 in Logan, the son of the late Russell L. Blake and Sondra ?Susie? Alan Milstead Cook of Nelsonville. He was married to Cara Tolliver Blake of Nelsonville.
Chris was employed by B and B Roofing, was a graduate of Nelsonville-York High School, played pool in the Home Tavern Pool League, Logan and loved to hunt and fish.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Trevor Tolliver; a daughter, Makenzi Blake; brothers, Russell Blake and Michael Blake both of Nelsonville, Shannon Blake of Athens and Ryan Cook of Nelsonville; sister, Candice Cook of Nelsonville; mother-in-law, Brenda Tolliver of Carbon Hill; father-in-law, James Tolliver Jr., of Logan and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Chris was preceded in death by, grandparents, William and Jane Milstead, Alfred and Mildred Blake and Paul Cook.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville. Interment will be in Carbon Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 P.M.
