Patty Mender Hartley

Patty Mender Hartley, 72 of Zanesville, passed away November 18, 2006 in her residence. She was born March 25, 1934 in Nelsonville, daughter of the late Hubert and Wilmena Mills Mender. She was married to Frank A. Hartley who survives.

Patty retired as Corporate Manager of Marketing for Bethesda Hospital in Zanesville, and was a lifelong Methodist.

She is survived by a son Frank David Gwen Hartley of Hopkinsville, Ky. 2 daughters Kathy Frank Sidwell of Zanesville, and Holly Mark Klopfenstein of Archbold, Ohio. 7 grandchildren, Justin and Jenny Kullman, Carmen, Lauren, Rachel, and Clifford Hartley, and Preston Klopfenstein. 5 step grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Patty was preceded in death by her brother, Roland Mender.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Nelsonville U.M. Church with Rev. Stacy Evans officiating. Patty chose to be cremated. Friends may call at the church 1 hour prior to the services.
