Dixie Lou Kinneer

Dixie Lou Kinneer, 73, of Nelsonville, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2006 at her residence. She was born November 25, 1933 in Greendale, Hocking County, daughter of the late Guy Curtis and Minnie Ruth Champ Kinneer.

Dixie was employed at Blackburn Home Furnishing for 19 years where she received the 2nd place Individual Norwalk Achievement Sales Award for US sales in 2004. She was a member of St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church in Buchtel and a past Nelsonville City Pool Manager. Dixie loved to travel with her friends and grandson Jedediah, she enjoyed making buckeye candy and cooking for her grandchildren and was an avid reader.

She is survived by four sons, Harley Kent Dupler of Logan, Keith Blaine Dupler of Albany, Craig Brent Jeannine Dupler of Gainesville, Florida and Kyle Scott Mary Dupler of Grove City; two daughters, Teresa ?Terry? Kay Dupler-Phillips of Charlotte, North Carolina and Tamara Kim McClain-Kisling of Longstreth; seven grandchildren, Isaiah Craig Dupler, Kala Renee Dupler-Phillips, Jedediah Strong McClain, Collin Max Dupler, Colton Blaine Dupler, Zoe Cecilia Dupler and SophiaMarie Isabella Dupler; three brothers, Keith Linda Kinneer of Nelsonville, Mike Cheryl Kinneer of Monday and Joe Kelly Kinneer of Chillicothe; one sister, Ruth Ann Richard Woody of Missouri; several nieces and nephews and her very special friends Nicki, JR, Debra and Keller Blackburn, Tom Schmitz, Debbie Ogg and Charla Guy Kinneer.

A funeral liturgy with mass will be held 10:30 A.M. Thursday, November 30, 2006 at St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church, SR 78, Buchtel, with Father John Mucha officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. with a wake service at 7:30 P.M.

The family suggests memorial contributions in Dixie?s name be made to St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church, 110 E. Washington St., Nelsonville, OH 45764.
