Kenneth Lowery

Kenneth Lowery, 78, of Nelsonville, passed away Monday, December 11, 2006 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. He was born September 5, 1928 in Athens County, son of the late Morris and Edith V. Smith Lowery.

Kenny was employed at Huber Walco in Marion and a member of Oak Grove Wesleyan Church.

He is survived by one brother, Harold Esther Lowery of Nelsonville; two sisters, Diane Larry Pidcock of New Marshfield and Edna Mae Jim Levering of Nelsonville; brother-in-law, Sam Buffington of Florida; many nieces and nephews and close friend Becky Franco of Nelsonville.

In addition to his parents, Kenny is preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Lowery and Morris Lowery Jr. and three sisters, Phyllis Ann Lowery, Janis Lowery and Evelyn Buffington.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, December 15, 2006 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Pastor Dave Cogar officiating. Interment will be in Connett Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8 P.M.
