Hubert W Call

Hubert "Hubie" W. Call, 60, of Buchtel, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2006 at his residence. He was born January 20, 1946 in Nelsonville, son of the late William Hubert and Elsie Bookman Call. Hubert was married to Bobbie Newman Call who survives.

He was a lineman for AEP and a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Hubert was a life member of VFW Post 3467 and was an avid golfer.

Hubert is survived by three sons, Michael Call of Buchtel, Daniel Call of Canton and Matthew Sara Call of St. Louis; one daughter, Mary Ann Call of Columbus; stepson Travis Heidi Rosser of Nelsonville and stepdaughter Becky Matt Eckels of Uniontown; a grandson Jackson Matthew Call and five step grandchildren, Chase, Conner, Kiersten, Jake and Lainey.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, December 17, 2006 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. Ernie Perkins officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville where a military graveside service will be conducted by the Combined Color Guard Unit. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M where a military memorial service will be conducted by Nelsonville VFW post 3467.
