Henri C. Zuber, 79, of Athens, passed away Monday, January
1, 2007 at his residence. He was born April 20, 1927 in
Allentown, Pennsylvania, son of the late Henry Charles Zuber and Elsie Mae Schneck.
He was a WWII Navy veteran and a retired truck driver. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, The Plains and an active member of the Athens County Amatuer Radio Association and the Rooster Net. He also belonged to the American Legion and was a life member of the North American Fishing Club.
He is survived by sons, David Ruth Zuber of East Strousberg, PA, Kevin C. Zuber of Utah, Terry Mary Zuber of Chillicothe and Michael Zuber of Randolph, VT; daughters, Cathy Kevin Rothermel of Kempton, PA and Wendi Phillip Jordan of Athens; 22 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a stepsister, Linda Leroy Roth of Avon Park, FL
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 6, 2007 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 7795 Lemaster Rd., The Plains with President Mike Moulton officiating. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
