Sophia E. Rockhold

Sophia E. Rockhold, 81, of Glouster, passed away Friday, January 5, 2007 at Doctors Hospital, Nelsonville. She was born April 15, 1925, in Hollister, Ohio, daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Fil Fydroski.

She was a retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Logan and was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Glouster.

Sophia is survived by two grandchildren Matthew and Caitlin Rockhold both of Glouster; daughter-in-law Tammy Bohlen of Glouster, three sisters, Josephine White of Buchtel, Helen Runtz and Agnes Stoncil both of Detroit, Michigan and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Cyrus E. Rockhold, two brothers, John and Henry Fydroski and husband Cyrus M. Rockhold.

A Funeral Liturgy with mass will be held 10 A.M. Monday, January 8, 2007 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Glouster with Father John Mucha officiating. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Sunday, January 7, 2006 from 5-8 P.M. where a Wake service will be conducted at 7:30 P.M.
