Michael A. Hurr

Michael A. Hurr, 56, of Laurelville, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2007 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan. He was born September 2, 1950 in Middletown, Ohio, son of the late Anthony and Betty McClanahan Hurr. Michael was married to Brenda Webster Hurr who survives.

He was a former manager for U-Haul in Columbus and past commander of Sons of Amvets # 1776 in Logan. He was a member of the Logan Moose Lodge, Sons of America Legion # 283 in Pickerington and the Eagles Club # 2431 in Grinnell, Iowa.

Micheal is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Jason Ryan of Utica, Ohio and Jandi Hurr; three grandchildren, Mykala, Ashlyn, and Kristen Ryan; two brothers, Nick and Mark Hurr and two sisters, Shannon Behler and Cecilia Lawhorn.

Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Monday, January 15, 2007 at the Cardaras Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Gerald Frazee officiating. Interment will be in Laurel Township, Hocking County. Friends may call the funeral home on Monday from 11A.M. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in memory of Michael A. Hurr be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, 1100 Dennison Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43201.
