Victor Gene Blair

April 10, 1939 — January 14, 2007

Victor Gene Blair, 67, of Nelsonville formerly of Logan, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2007 at Pine Hills Continuing Care, Nelsonville. He was born April 10, 1939 in Hocking Co., son of the late James and Clara Palmer Blair. Gene was married to Audrey Lehman Blair who survives.

He was a retired truck driver from Keynes Mill and attended Peoples Church in Logan and the Nazarene Church in Nelsonville.

Gene is survived by his wife as well as four sons, Gene Teresa Smith of Logan, Steve Marilyn Blair of Athens, Duane Tina Blair of Logan and Greg Mary Blair of Logan; five daughters, Jody James Lambert of Nelsonville, Vickie Kary Kisor of Nelsonville, Janet Eugene Chambers of Logan, Lisa David Harrell of Clinton, Tennessee and Pamela Bill Humphrey of Nelsonville; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four brothers, Kenneth, Lawrence, Pearl and Earl Blair all of Logan and two sisters, Mary Matthews of Columbus, Georgia and Betty Wildermuth of Logan.

In addition to his parents, Gene is preceded in death by a brother Bill Blair.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Thursday, January 18, 2007 at the Peoples Church, 30811 Lake Logan Rd., Logan, Ohio 43138 with Rev. Roger Fidler and Rev. Bill Stires officiating. Interment will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 183 E. Second St., Logan on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in memory of Victor Gene Blair be made to Gideons International, P.O. Box 961, Logan, OH 43138
