Martin Dale Humphrey

Martin Dale Humphrey, 45, of Nelsonville, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at Doctors Hospital, Nelsonville. He was born February 4, 1961 in Nelsonville, son of the late Raymond Dale and Martha Elizabeth Cottrill Humphrey. Martin was married to Daileen K. Prince Humphrey who survives.

He was a student at Hocking College in the Archeology program, a veteran of the United States Air Force and loved to hunt. He also loved to find things outdoors. He liked hunting mushrooms and finding arrowheads and digging up old pottery and other artifacts.

Martin is survived by his wife Daileen, as well as two sons, Mike Sharp of Nampa, Idaho and Ryan Flowers of Nelsonville; one daughter, Tina Flowers of Nampa, Idaho, six grandchildren, Shinea, Chase, William, Dalton, Coalton, and Hailey; two brothers, Bill Pam Humphrey and Bret Humphrey both of Nelsonville; two sisters, Peggy Mike Freer of Nelsonville and April Brian Gardine Humphrey of Senecaville and he was loved by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Pastor Tom Hanning officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
