Phoebe D. Mcgomery

Phoebe D. McGomery, 64, of Logan, passed away Monday, January 22, 2007 at Genesis Select Hospital, Zanesville. She was born May 11, 1942 in Columbus, daughter of Emma Jean Roberts Tilley of Maryville, Tennessee and the late Francis M Tilley Sr. Phoebe is the widow of the late Ronald E. McGomery who passed away in 1990.

She was a former employee of the Goodyear Plant in Logan.

Phoebe is survived by two sons, Ronald E. Patricia McGomery Jr. of Logan and James L. Connie McGomery of Logan; one daughter Brenda Nelson of Logan; nine grandchildren; five brothers, Monroe Tilley of Florida, David Tilley of Logan, Jerry Tilley of Lancaster, Frank Tilley of Indiana and Daniel Tilley of Laurelville and seven sisters, Ethel Cordell of Georgia, Barbara Bushey of Tennessee, Sally Stevens of Circileville , Carol Rosa of Florida, Joan Loper of Maryville Tennesee and Betty Denune of Logan.

In addition to her father and husband, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Francis M. Tilley Jr. and Larry D. Tilley.

Graveside services will be held 1 P.M. Wednesday, January 24, 2007 in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan with Rev. Jason Everidge officiating. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
