Gary W. Champ

Gary W. Champ Sr., 58, of Logan, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2007 at his residence. He was born June 19, 1948 in Logan, son of the late Guy and Virginia Sharb Champ Sr. Gary was married to Vickie Glass Champ who survives.

He retired from Goodyear in Logan in the maintenance department and was employed part time at the Brass Ring Golf Club in Logan. Gary was a member of the Logan Moose and a former member of the Logan Eagles.

He is survived by two sons, Gary W. Michele Williams Champ Jr. of Logan and Shane T. Jackie Patton Champ of Logan; a stepson, Chasy Richards of Glouster; stepdaughter Mandi Jerry Myers of Baltimore; two grandsons, Bejamin and Brycen; two brothers Guy Champ Jr. and Greg Champ both of Logan and two sisters, Darlene Stube of Albany and Diane Sherrick of Logan.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Cardaras Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
